Spaghetti and Meatballs.

Ingredients:

Here are going to use for this dish:

1:Ground Pork (Giniling na Baboy)

2:The ground beef (giniling na baka).

3:Bread Crumbs

4:   And we're also going to use garlic

4:One piece of egg

5:Sharp Cheddar Cheese

6:Parmesan Cheese








For sause

here's the stewed tomato

And here's the tomato sauce

Onion

Fresh Basil

And spaghetti noodles

We also need Knorr Pork Cubes



Aside from these ingredients, we are also going to use water, olive oil, salt and ground

Direction:

Just mix the ground beef and the ground pork in a big mixing bowl.

Let's also mix the other ingredients in making the meatballs.

Like the breadcrumbs.

You can use ordinary bread, just shred it.

Add in half of the garlic from the total amount in the ingredients.

And here's the one piece of egg. I just cracked it in here.

We are also going to add in the seasonings, salt and ground black pepper.

Let's add in the ground black pepper first.

And then I'll add in the salt.

It's better to use fine salt.

We're also going to add Parmesan cheese.

Just mix all the ingredients here. You can use a spoon or just your hands.

I will use spoon first then my hands later so that it will be easier to mix well.

Just make sure that our hands are clean.

We just need to mix thoroughly all the ingredients here.

If the mixture is a still a bit wet, you can add more breadcrumbs.

Continue until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed and then we're going to make meatball.

To make meatball we will use a scoop. Use an ice cream scoop so that it will be easier.

We're just going to scoop. We use this so that it's easier and the size will be uniform.

And now, stuff the cheese in the meatball. This is why our meatballs is more delicious because of the cheese inside.

What I'm using here is white sharp cheddar cheese. But you can use any available cheese.

Just roll and make sure the cheese is secured inside. Continue until all the mixture is done.

And when the meatballs are ready, we're going to fry them.

Just pre-heat a pan and add in olive oil. I use extra-virgin olive oil.

You can use regular olive oil here.

You can also use ordinary cooking oil if there's no available olive oil.

Just swirl the olive oil in the pan.

Put in the meatball.

Put the meatballs one at a time.

We want to cook all sides of the meatballs until brown.

What I do is I cook one side for about 40-45 seconds, flip the other side until all sides are brown.

We just need to be patient in doing this process.

It's good to fry the meatballs before mixing with the sauce because it's tastier.

Just flip the meatballs so that all sides will be cooked. As simple as that. Make sure it's brown.

Compared to slightly frying, it's tastier when brown and more appetizing to look at.

Now, this ready.

We're just going to remove the meatballs that is already cooked and brown from the pan and put in a clean plate.

And it's important to remember that we're going to reuse the olive oil. We will save it for later.

The taste of the meatballs is already there, so it will be good if we use it for the sauce.

After placing the meatballs in a plate, set it aside first.

Now, let's do the sauce.

What we are going to do is the meaty marinara sauce.

Add in the olive oil that we use to fry the meatballs.

Then, we will saute the onion and the garlic.

That's our yellow onion. You can use white onion here.

And it's better if we slice the onion into smaller pieces.

Now, add in the garlic.

This is the rest of the garlic that we used earlier. We will use this to saute for the sauce.

It's good to mince the garlic or chop it into small pieces.

Continue to saute until the onions are cooked. Then add in the stewed tomato.

I used here canned stewed tomato. If not available, it's good to use tomato sauce or crushed tomato.

And speaking of tomato sauce, we're going to add it now.

We use stewed tomato and tomato sauce for our meaty marinara sauce.

Cover the pot and cook for about 20 minutes.

There, this is now ready.

Just stir the sauce.

Usually, when we say marinara sauce, it's not meaty. It's composed of tomato and basil.

It's as simple as that. But since we want it meaty, we're just going to add Knorr pork cube.

This is to really taste the pork. Stir and then we're going to add the fresh basil.

I add in the basil leaves but you can chop it if you want.

Add in the basil leaf or basil leaves.

There. Just stir and cook for 5 minutes.

And now, add in the fried meatballs.

Add them one at a time so that the hot sauce will not splash on you.

When the meatballs are already in the pot, just stir and cooked for about 10 more minutes.

The sauce will be meatier because as we cook the taste of the meatballs will mix with the sauce.

Cover the cooking pot.

Our meaty marinara sauce is now ready. Just add in ground black pepper and season with salt.

Before adding in salt, taste the sauce first to know how much salt to add.

Stir. And it's now ready. Turn off the heat. Cover the cooking pot and set aside.

Let's now cook the spaghetti.

For the spaghetti, follow the package instructions.

Just boil water in a pot and add in salt when the water starts to boil.

This helps add flavor to the spaghetti because as the water boils, the spaghetti absorbs the water with salt.

Now, let's add in the spaghetti.

And as I have said earlier, just follow the package instructions especially the time.

Just stir continously to make sure that the spaghetti will not stick to each other.

This is now ready. Drain it and arrange the spaghetti in a pasta bowl.

Then we'll top it with meaty marinara sauce and meatballs.

And now, our dish is ready.
