_what is caprese?

A straightforward Italian salad made with sliced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil, drizzled with olive oil, is known as a caprese salad. Pesto and balsamic vinegar are popular additions to a caprese salad, but they are not necessary. As with a lot of Italian cooking, the quality of the ingredients is very important to the final dish. Therefore, regardless of how your caprese is prepared, try to get the best tomatoes, mozzarella, and  pesto

_Ingredients

Poultry breasts: For this dish, the best choice is boneless, skinless chicken breast.

Vinegar from balsamic: used as a delicious topping glaze!

Honey: serves as a natural sweetness counterpoint to the vinegar.

• Onion: Cut your garlic clove in half. Use the minced garlic from your fridge if you don't have any fresh garlic. One clove of garlic weighs about 12 teaspoons.

Oil of olives: Olive oil has a flavor that I enjoy, but if you only have vegetable oil, you can use that!

Seasoning from Italy: Give this homemade Italian seasoning a shot. It will unquestionably elevate this recipe to new heights!

Salt: brings out all of the ingredients' natural flavors.

Chili: This recipe doesn't require any heat; all you need is a pinch of pepper.

• Grape tomatoes: This part is simple because you'll be using all of them! No need to chop or slice!

Numerous tomatoes: To place on top of the chicken, slice the tomatoes.

• The cheese mozerella: The majority of fresh mozerella is presliced. Slice it into thin pieces if it doesn't.

Basil: Top with some fresh basil! It imparts a new flavor!

_variations ideas??

Caprese chicken to make it your own if you're looking for a little more flavor! Get creative; your loved ones will enjoy it!

Pasta: Serve this dish over pasta. It will really fill you up with Italian culture, and you'll love how it does!

Turn it into food: I especially enjoy having sides that go well with this chicken as the main course. This salad and these potatoes, in my opinion, are fantastic in doing just that!

Sandwich with a open face: Try topping this with French bread that has been toasted! This meal can be served as an informal lunch with a delicious open-face sandwich.

Tips and tricks

Tip: • Add basil pesto and mozzarella During the last few minutes of cooking, spoon a little bit of basil pesto over each piece of chicken and top with a slice of mozzarella. The mozzarella should melt just a little as the chicken finishes cooking. Oh my goodness!

• Remove from heat and garnish each chicken piece with tomato slices, basil leaves, and balsamic reduction (or balsamic glaze).

How to store baked caprese chicken ?

You won't have any leftovers from this dish, which is so delicious and mouthwatering! However, if you do, there are a few ways to store it until the next time!

• Keep cool: This should be kept in an airtight container (a ziplock bag or a glass with a lid). It can be kept for up to four days in the refrigerator.

• Fridge: When your chicken has completely cooled, wait. The fresh cheese and tomatoes should be removed because they won't keep well in the freezer. Put the chicken in a ziplock bag and close it tightly! The chicken can be frozen and stored for up to three months in the freezer. To find out how long your bag is good for, make sure to write the date on it!

• Rewarm: Allow the chicken to thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating. After it has thawed, you can add the fresh mozarella cheese, tomato, and basil to a casserole dish. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees, at 375 degrees
